Research Assistant Professor
Jacob received his Ph.D. in experimental plasma physics from the University of Iowa in 2024. He then worked as a post-doctoral researcher at West Virginia University until 2026 when he transitioned into his current role as a Research Assistant Professor. His research interests include kinetic-scale plasma physics, wave-particle interactions, and plasma applications. Currently, his research focuses on developing novel laser-based diagnostics to better understand plasma behavior.
